4. This is a very good album. Although I had been introduced to Neil Larsen thru a composition that Sea Level covered back in the 70's, this was my first immersion into the talents of this great keyboard player. Unfortunately, the CD is out of print and those selling used copies are asking for top dollar. Instead, I downloaded the album in MP3 format/5(21).

7. Larsen's first album, Jungle Fever, was released in September Larsen toured the US in support of the release with a band that included Feiten. The title track from his second album, High Gear, was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance.

9. A little gem from the late 70's by this LA based keyboards player and generally reckoned to be his best, well worth hunting down. Jungle Fever features the likes of Buzz Feiten (guitar), Willie Weeks (bass), Andy Newmark (not one of my favourite drummers, it must be said), Mike Brecker (tenor sax), Larry Williams (alto sax and flute), Ralph McDonald (percussion) and Jerry Hey (trumpet /5(10).
